Present: Dave Watts, Mark Watson, Mike McGann, Colleen Brown, Gina Matkin, Mike McMahon,
None Absent

We began with meditation, TNH meditation on the practice of holding a meeting, and check-in.

1)  Treasurer's Report
Steve Brown submitted the treasurers report, copies of which are available in our Sangha Welcome book (at the Yoga Path) for review by sangha. We have a balance in our account of $8305.50.
a) It was decided to research Venmo as a less expensive alternative to Paypal as a vendor for processing donations and payments.
b) Steve recommended it would be more efficient to have a separate account for processing retreat credits and debits.
c) It looks like the cost of a Meet Up notification has doubled in the past year from @ $90 yearly to @ $180 yearly. It was decided to investigate if this is in fact the case, and, if it is, to consider whether it is worth while to continue listing the sangha on Meet Up.
d) Steve has served beautifully as sangha treasurer for more than two years.  Thank you Steve.  He has asked if he could pass this duty on to a new sangha member.  We will consider and inquire who might fill this important role.
e) It was noted that, per the bylaws we will keep a prudent minimum balance in our account of $1500 and when we have a balance in excess of that amount we will find good use for the additional funds.  The best utilization of these "excess" funds will be on the agenda of a future CTC meeting.

2) Process for making selection of new CTC members
a) We will make an announcement soliciting the interest of qualified sangha members to serve- either presently or at some future time - on the CTC. We may reach out to sangha members who seem particularly "ripe" for serving on the CTC and encourage them to apply.
b) We will create a form by which a sangha member might express this interest and collect these submissions
c) The CTC will make selections for current CTC participation based on the needs of the CTC, the sangha, and the individual applicants
d) Gina has committed to writing an updated CTC description for the website and preparing an application form which will be put on the website
e) We will announce openings for the CTC in mid November
f) The deadline for applying for the current selectin will be mid December
e) Selection will be made at December CTC meeting or, if we need more time for discussion, at the January CTC meeting.  Those not selected will be kept in consideration for next years CTC needs.  Our aspiration is to encourage all qualified sangha members  to have an opportunity to serve on the CTC.  Our aspiration is to encourage and support any sangha member who would like to be qualified to serve, to do the things they need to do to be qualified.  We are always striving to be an  inclusive sangha, to empower each sangha member to participate in sangha life as fully as possible.

We closed with a lovely reading from Gina.  There was harmony in the sangha
